There’s no way to measure smiles, but our research and evaluation team works to ensure the safety and happiness of our campers, the smartest use of our funding, and positive outcomes from our programs.

Joy is contagious

Layla came home different (or perhaps more herself then ever), empowered, lighter, more confident in who she is. Since she’s been back, she’s been singing songs, reciting chants, and telling stories non-stop—her joy is contagious. She is truly beaming. [Camp has] given Layla something we couldn’t give her on our own—and for that, we are deeply, deeply thankful.

Where they're just a kid

Having a place like Hole in the Wall is a great reminder that you are not fighting this alone. Whether its sitting with your friends at lunch chanting for your unit, staying up late and talking about the most random things, or getting up on stage and performing the first idea that popped into your head at a talent show, there’s one thing that’s clear – at camp you’re no longer the “kid that has or had cancer”, You’re Just a KID.
