Former Camper Rocks!Former Camper Dexter Darden has a leading role in the recently released family musical, Standing Ovation, distributed by Rocky Mountain Pictures. The film follows five junior high school friends who form a singing group and compete in a national music video contest. Dexter first came to Camp at the age of 8, where his talents were recognized by Camp’s founder Paul Newman. Since then, his acting, singing and dancing credits have grown exponentially. Dexter says Camp, “lifted my burdens and helped me take each day as a blessing.” Way to go, Dexter!
